Insta Empire Episode 799 Full Episode
When Xavier Marshall realized that some of Kevin’s Radiance team were following him as he led Kevin to the Alliance compound, it led to a tense confrontation with Troy Evans and the Radiance members. Kevin bargained to let Troy come along, but the other Radiance members had to turn back. They stayed in the area, though, and continued to listen in through Troy’s earpiece.
Insta Empire Episode 700 – The Game Has Changed | Kevin Williams Full Story
Once they got to the Alliance camp, Troy was suspicious about the fact that they seemed to be the only outsiders. Once the bundle of sticks was burned to a crisp in the opening ceremony bonfire, the other Alliance members sat back down and awaited the leader’s next words. His voice came booming through the speakers, Long live the Alliance indeed.
You all know your morning activities. I’ll see you all at the cafeteria for lunch at 1230. The Alliance members rose from their log benches and dispersed in all directions.
Some went into tents and others trailed off into the forest. Meanwhile, Kevin and his allies weren’t sure where to go. Did anyone see the itinerary? Kyle asked.
Just then, Xavier Marshall walked up and interjected, Your activities have been predetermined by the leader. Kyle and Marcus, you two can join Group 3 for some archery practice. They’re down the hill to the west.
Troy and Sasha, you’ll be with Group 6 this morning for a bonding exercise by the stream. Troy scoffed. Thanks, but I’m not interested in any kind of bonding exercise.
My place is beside Kevin. Xavier shook his head. Given your previous connection to the Pinnacle, Mr. Evans, the Alliance leader thinks that a bonding exercise is exactly what you need.
Don’t worry about Kevin. The leader has requested to meet with him personally. Troy frowned.
All the more reason that I should stay at his side. Kevin wasn’t as worried. He knew that the Alliance leader didn’t pose much of a threat on his own.
Don’t worry about me, Troy. Something happens, I can take care of myself. You stay with Sasha and look after him instead.
Troy nodded. He trusted Kevin’s leadership unconditionally. Yes, sir.
As everyone went their separate ways, the leader stepped down from the stage and took Kevin’s hand. Come with me, Kevin. I want you to lead a workshop on the importance of herbalism.
A lot of our members are martial artists, but few have done any herbalist training. Kevin looked perplexed. That’s all you want from me? I thought we were here to discuss the future of the Alliance.
The Alliance leader put his arm around Kevin and smiled. All things in due time, Kevin. We’ll get to our strategizing soon enough.
Meanwhile, Kyle and Marcus followed Group 3 to a grove located just outside the Alliance camp. There was a wooden target hanging from one of the trees and a collection of bows propped up on the table. One of the Alliance members who was wearing a hood stepped in front of the group and led the activity.
Setting goals is just like shooting a target. You aim, gather your strength, and then take your shot. If your aim is true, you’ll hit the target, but if you falter, you’ll miss it completely, no matter how strongly you fire your arrow.
By studying archery, we can learn about completing our goals in all kinds of different arenas. Marcus whispered under his breath, God, is there anything worse than these corporate team-building exercises? The Alliance member leading the exercise looked straight at Marcus. If you doubt the importance of this exercise, perhaps you should go first, sir.
Marcus gulped as the other members cleared a path for him. When he stepped forward, the hooded Alliance member handed Marcus a bow and an arrow. If you don’t think this exercise is worth your time, then I assume you must already know how to hit a target.
Please, then, show us all how it’s done, won’t you? Marcus grabbed the bow out of his hand and readied an arrow. Sure thing. I’ve been to summer camp before.
I remember how it’s done. Marcus pulled the arrow back and steadied his aim. After letting out a deep breath, he fired the arrow.
As it whizzed through the air, the target suddenly lifted, pulled up by another Alliance member. The arrow flew past the target and disappeared in the dense forest. Marcus felt cheated.
Hey, that’s not fair. Nobody told me it was a moving target. The hooded Alliance member snickered.
All targets are moving targets, my friend. If you want to succeed, you must anticipate your opponent’s moves before they make them. Now, go fetch your arrow and think about what I have told you.
Marcus groaned as he stepped into the forest. While he searched for his arrow, the hooded member invited the others to try and hit the target. A few of the other members also missed the target, but the hooded man never asked them to pick up their arrows like Marcus had to do.
When it was Kyle’s turn to fire an arrow, he hit the target right on the bullseye. The hooded member nodded with a smile. Very good, sir.
You seem to be a much better shot than your friend. When Kyle looked around and still didn’t see Marcus in the crowd, he started to feel concerned. Speaking of my friend, he doesn’t seem to have come back.
I’m starting to worry that maybe he got lost. The hooded member chuckled. Well, if you’re so worried about him, why don’t you go take a look? He couldn’t have gone far.
Without a second’s thought, Kyle set down the bow and went into the forest. Marcus! Marcus, where are you? He wandered in about 500 feet but didn’t see any sign of Marcus. Then he heard a voice call out from the trees.
Kyle! Help! Please! Kyle started to run looking all around for Marcus. Where are you, Marcus? Use your voice to guide me! Kyle! I’m up here! His voice was coming from above. When Kyle looked up, he was shocked to see Marcus tied up in a net hanging high in the trees.
Marcus! What are you doing up there? Just then, Marcus’s eyes grew wide with fear. He pointed and shouted, Kyle! Behind you! Look out! Before Kyle could turn around, a hooded alliance member clubbed him in the back of the head. Kyle was knocked out cold.
At around the same time, Troy and Sasha were just beginning their bonding exercise down by the stream. The alliance member leading it was also wearing a hood. He was standing in the stream with the other members standing shoulder to shoulder along the bank.
The stream before you is the stream of life. It ruthlessly sweeps away all things that do not have firm roots, but with enough strength. We can stand proud and accept the stream’s blessings.
Troy rolled his eyes. I can’t believe we left Chicago for this. The hooded alliance member continued, Know that you do not have to face this stream alone, brothers and sisters, for we stand together here, united by our shared humanity.
We are more alike than you may think, and today we shall prove it. Take a step forward if you’ve ever loved someone. Everyone took a step forward into the stream except for Troy who was laughing to himself.
The hooded member looked at Troy seriously. Are you to tell me that you, Mr. Evans, have never loved anyone? Troy scoffed. You know what I really love? Keeping my shoes dry.
But you guys go ahead and continue with your little bonding exercise. The hooded member shook his head. The stream will swallow you whole if you go it alone, Troy.
There are no lone wolves inside the alliance. Troy crossed his arms. Well, there is now.
The hooded member continued the exercise without Troy. He told the group to step forward if they’d ever lost someone, made a mistake, or celebrated a victory until everyone had crossed the stream. Once they were on the other side, the hooded member grabbed a bucket and filled it up with water from the stream.
Another member stood beside him with a stack of paper cups. And now, brothers and sisters, we embrace the stream of life by drinking directly from its water. The hooded member started filling up cups and handing them out to the participants.
Before handing one to Sasha, though, he secretly dropped in a pill that was tucked under his sleeve. Once everyone had their cups, he raised his and said, Long live the alliance. Long live the alliance, everyone repeated.
After drinking his water, Sasha began to feel a bit queasy. Hey, are you sure this water is safe to drink? Then Sasha suddenly fainted and dropped to the ground. From the other side of the stream, Troy watched with concern.
Sasha, are you all right? Just then, an alliance member snuck up from behind and knocked Troy on the back of the head. Meanwhile, Kevin was just finishing up leading the herbalist workshop. He focused mostly on explaining to people how herbalism and martial arts can be intertwined and often go hand in hand.
The alliance leader was watching him from the back, keeping an eye on things. Suddenly, Xavier tugged on his arm and whispered, His allies have all been captured, sir. The alliance leader smiled.
Good. Now all we need is to give the other members a good reason for his execution and we can be done with him. Xavier nodded.
What do you suggest, sir? The leader looked back at Kevin while he spoke. If we set one of the tents on fire and put Troy at the scene of the crime, it will look like the only reason they came here was to sabotage us. I’d say that’s a pretty good reason.
Look out for my signal. Xavier grinned. Of course, sir.
Long live the alliance. Xavier Marshall had brought Kevin into the alliance, and now he was going to see him be taken out of the alliance dead.
